While this will be Gavin's second Christmas, he is definitely more aware and excited this time around. He loves all of the lights and decorations everywhere we go, and as you saw from the last post, he and Santa have a special bond that makes Gavin think he will clean house in the present department this year.
We recently visited Swarthmore College - the site where Mommy and Daddy had their wedding pictures taken - to let Gavin try out his new rake...and as you can see, he fit right in with the students. Gavin also recently discovered the Crayola Factory, and met an ice cream cone that was just his size. Enjoy!
No swimmers will fear the sight of this cutie in the water! Gavin loved being a shark, and the parties this week and last where he and his friends dressed up a little early to get the most out of their adorable costumes. Trick-or-treating was great, all of the neighborhood kids had a blast. We hope you all had a wonderful Halloween as well!
Gavin is a huge fan of the Fall season - he was made for pumpkin picking, hay rides, and romping around in the leaves. Happy 1st birthday to Gavin's cousin Luke!
The hottest summer on record has ended, and Gavin has taken advantage by spending loads of quality time enjoying the outdoors. He seems to have fun wherever we go, and has recently added 'duck feeder' and 'apple picker' to his resume. Hope you enjoy the post!

Hello, all! Gavin officially passed the year and a half mark a few weeks back, and he has turned into a chatter box. His vocabulary is certainly taking off, as is his reckless abandon as he tackles everything summer has to offer. Boys will be boys!

Now that Gavin is full-blown sprinting all over the place, he cannot be contained in doors! We've spent a lot of time outside, including a few trips to some pretty fun spots in the area. Gavin also helped his buddies celebrate their big days - happy birthday to Brandt, Porter, and Parker!
Happy Mother's Day! We spent the day celebrating as a family, including a visit to a lovely park with wonderful views of Philadelphia. Yesterday, we met the Krays and Gavin attended his first baseball game! As you can see, the boys had as much fun exploring the grounds as they did watching the game.
Gavin was very excited to use the beach toys the Easter Bunny brought him, so we headed to Long Beach Island this weekend to spend time with family and friends. As you can see, the chilly weather didn't keep us from the beach!
Happy Easter! We spent the weekend in CT and had a wonderful time. Gavin was much more aware during his second Easter celebration, and he was thrilled to learn he received a visit from the Easter Bunny, who he'd met a few days prior.
What a snowy mess of a month! Focusing away from the weather, Gavin enjoyed his second Valentine's Day - and first swim class. The jury is still out on whether or not Gavin enjoys playing in the snow, but it sure gets his attention while it's falling. Having just had his fourth molar come in, Gavin has tried a ton of new foods in the past few weeks - loving just about all of them.
Gavin turned 1 today, and to celebrate, Mommy and Daddy gave him a little something. As you can see, it took him no time to master his new toy! Happy Birthday, Gav - we have all loved every second.
We decided to celebrate Gavin's birthday a few days early, and we had so much fun. Thanks to everyone for joining in the celebration, especially those who had to travel far to be with us.
It's been a wild few weeks! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. We traveled to all of the grandparents' houses during the holidays, and absent Gavin's worst (and only!) cold to date, we had a wonderful time. He definitely got into the spirit of the holiday by opening gifts and being a good sport while we put reindeer antlers on his head.
